සමහරු හිතනවා ශරීරයේ අනවශ්‍ය බර වැඩි වීමක් වෙන්නේ වැඩිපුර මේදය කන කොට කියල. හැබැයි ඔයාල කන කාබෝහයිඩ්රේට/ ප්‍රෝටීන/ මේදය යන කියන සංගටක වලින් ලබෙල වැඩිපුර ශක්තිය මේදය ලෙස තමයි ශරීරයේ තැන්පත් වෙන්නේ! 
ඔයාලා ඉක්මනට බර අඩු කරගන්න හැදුවොත් ඔයාලගේ මාංශ පේශි ක්ෂය වෙන්න පුළුවන්, බර අඩුකරගැනීම තිරණය වෙන්නේ ඔය දවසට ගන්න කැලරි ප්‍රමාණයට වඩා කැලරි ප්‍රමාණයක් කිරීමෙන් තමයි. එතකොට ශරීරය දුවල වෙන්න පුළුවන් ඒ වගේම ගැස්ට්‍රියිටිස් වගේ ලෙඩ රෝග වලටත් ගොදුරු වෙන්න පුළුවන්.

ඔයාගේ ශරීරයේ බර අඩුකරගන්නනම් ඔයාලගේ කැම පිගානේ වෙනසක් කරන්න ඕනේ. ඔයාගේ කෑම පිගානට එකතු කරගන්න ප්‍රෝටීන් ප්‍රමාණය වැඩි කරගන්න ඕනේ, කාබෝහයිඩ්රේට ප්‍රමාණය අඩු කරගන්න ඕනේ.
